These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as "Terms") define the conditions for using the website provided by Matcha Store Japan (hereinafter referred to as "the Site"). By using the Site, users (hereinafter referred to as "Users") are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

Article 1 (Scope of Application)

These Terms apply to all activities conducted by Users on the Site. Users must use the Site in accordance with the content of these Terms.

Article 2 (User Registration)

Users may be required to complete a registration process to use the Site’s services. During registration, Users must provide truthful and accurate information. If false information is provided, Matcha Store Japan reserves the right to suspend or delete the registration.

Article 3 (Purchasing Products)

Users can purchase products from Matcha Store Japan through the Site.

  • The purchase process is finalized when the User selects the desired product, confirms the order details, and completes the payment.
  • Matcha Store Japan will ship the product after the payment process is completed. Please refer to the shipping policy for information on shipping times and methods.

Article 4 (Payment Methods)

Users must pay for purchased products in accordance with the payment methods designated by Matcha Store Japan. Details regarding payment methods and deadlines are listed in the Site's “Legal Notices”.

Article 5 (Cancellations and Returns)

  • If a product is found to be defective upon receipt, Users may request a return within 7 days of arrival.
  • Cancellations or returns for User convenience are accepted only if the product is unused and unopened. For more details, please refer to the return policy.

Article 6 (Prohibited Actions)

Users are prohibited from engaging in the following actions while using the Site:

  • Violating laws or public order and morals
  • Providing false information
  • Unauthorized access to Matcha Store Japan’s servers or systems
  • Actions that harm Matcha Store Japan or other Users
  • Any other actions deemed inappropriate by Matcha Store Japan

Article 7 (Copyright and Intellectual Property Rights)

Article 8 (Disclaimer)

Matcha Store Japan is not liable for damages incurred by Users in connection with the use of the Site unless caused by intentional misconduct or gross negligence by Matcha Store Japan.

Matcha Store Japan is not responsible for service interruptions caused by force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, connection failures, system maintenance).

Article 9 (Suspension of Use and Deregistration)

If a User violates these Terms or is deemed inappropriate by Matcha Store Japan, the company may suspend the User’s use of the Site or delete their registration without prior notice.

Article 10 (User Responsibility)

Users are fully responsible for compensating any damages caused to the Site or third parties due to intentional or negligent actions attributable to the User. Additionally, Users agree to cover any costs incurred by the Site in relation to such damages (including legal fees).

Article 11 (Changes to the Terms)

Matcha Store Japan reserves the right to modify these Terms as necessary. The revised Terms will take effect when posted on the Site.

Users agree to the revised Terms by continuing to use the Site after any changes are made. Users are encouraged to regularly check the Site for updates to these Terms.

Article 12 (User Comments, Feedback, and Other Submissions)

If Users submit specific materials (e.g., contest entries) or creative ideas, suggestions, or proposals (collectively referred to as "Comments") to the Site, either at the Site’s request or unsolicited, Users agree that the Site may use, edit, copy, publish, distribute, translate, or otherwise utilize such Comments without restrictions.

The Site is not obligated to:

  1. Maintain the confidentiality of Comments
  2. Provide compensation for Comments
  3. Respond to Comments

The Site may monitor, edit, or delete content it deems illegal, offensive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable or in violation of these Terms but is not obligated to do so.

Users agree that their Comments will not infringe upon the rights of third parties (e.g., copyrights, trademarks, privacy, personality rights). Users also agree not to submit defamatory, unlawful, abusive, or obscene content, or any content that may harm the Site or related services.

Users must not impersonate others, use false email addresses, or mislead the Site or third parties regarding the origin of Comments. Users are solely responsible for their Comments and their accuracy. The Site assumes no responsibility for Comments submitted by Users or third parties.

Article 13 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms are governed by Japanese law and shall be interpreted accordingly. Disputes arising between Users and Matcha Store Japan shall also be resolved under Japanese law.

第7条（著作権および知的財産権）

尚、 本利用約款の内容について修正および変更が必要であると判断したとき、Matcha Store Japanは契約者の承諾なく変更することができます。この場合、変更された利用約款は当社のウェブサイトに掲載することによって契約者に通知されたものとし、契約者は変更後の利用約款に従うことに同意したとみなされるものとします。なお、契約者は変更の有無およびその内容を知るために当社ウェブサイト等を定期的に確認するものとします。
